На Гаити погибших в результате мощного землетрясения увеличилось до 304 человек, при этом количество пострадавших превысило 1800 человек, сообщает информационное агентство «Франс Пресс» со ссылкой на управление гражданской защиты Республики Гаити.
«На настоящий момент зарегистрировано 304 погибших, 160 из которых проживали в департаменте Юг. Также в настоящий момент мы располагаем информацией о 1,8 тыс. получивших ранения», — рассказал представитель управления.
Ранее число жертв землетрясения на Гаити увеличилось до 227.
14 августа у берегов Гаити произошло землетрясение магнитудой 7,2.
Позднее на Гаити произошло еще одно землетрясение, магнитудой 5,8, сообщает агентство «Франс Пресс» со ссылкой на Европейско-средиземноморский сейсмологический центр. По данным центра, эпицентр находился в 35 км от коммуны Ле-Ке, население которой составляет около 125 тыс человек. Сообщений о разрушениях не поступало.
