Министр сельского и лесного хозяйства Турции Бекир Пакдемирли написал в Twitter, что пожарным удалось потушить 107 очагов возгорания.
По его словам, в настоящее время ведется борьба только с пятью лесными пожарами.

При этом министр уточнил, что пожар в районе Бодрума, в результате которого эвакуировали несколько отелей, был взят под контроль.
Накануне, в пригороде Бодрума из-за возгорания эвакуировали туристов и жителей, поскольку крупный пожар быстро приближается к ним из лесной зоны на вершине горы.

Лесные пожары начались в Турции в среду, 28 июля, недалеко от курортного города Манавгат в провинции Анталия. Согласно предварительным данным, возгорания происходят из-за сильной жары в регионе. 29 июля пожары возникли в ряде других провинций, в том числе курортных Айдын и Муглу. В результате природного бедствия погибли шестеро, пострадали свыше 400.
Как сообщается, полиция задержала двух человек, подозреваемых в разжигании лесных пожаров в Турции. Эти двое мужчин были пойманы, когда поджигали другое место.
