Одна из самых известных в мире санно-бобслейных трасс, расположенная в немецком Кёнигсзе, серьезно пострадала от стихии.
Напомним, в настоящее время на территории Германии бушует одно из самых крупных наводнений за всю историю наблюдений.
— Всем большое спасибо за сочувствие и слова поддержки. Наши мысли сейчас с теми, кто пострадал из-за наводнения. Что касается состояния трассы, мы сообщим больше информации в понедельник, — говорится в сообщении пресс-службы немецкой трассы в Facebook.
В Германии, Бельгии и Нидерландах с начала недели продолжаются ливни, вызванные циклоном «Бернд». Из берегов вышли притоки Рейна — Ар и Мозель, а также небольшие реки — Эрфт, Зауэр, Прюм, Нимс, Киль. Трасса в Кёнигзее также расположена возле озера.

When I ask athletes what their favorite track is, Königssee comes up a lot. It’s the first artificially cooled sliding track and it’s put on some of the best racing the world has seen.
