Природные пожары бушуют в районе греческого региона Пелопоннес, сообщает в четверг газета Ekathimerini.
Жителей ряда населенных пунктов, расположенных в номе Коринфия, примерно в 70 км к западу от Афин, эвакуируют.
В качестве меры предосторожности спасатели приняли решение провести эвакуацию двух православных монастырей, расположенных близ зоны лесных пожаров.
В ликвидации пожаров задействованы восемь самолетов и три вертолета. К утру четверга смог от пожаров наблюдался в столице Греции.

К утру четверга смог от пожаров наблюдался в столице Греции. Пользовательница Twitter Никки Морган пишет, что дым от лесного пожара Схинос накрыл Афины. Запах стоит ужасный, в горле ощущение сырости, а холм Филопаппу почти не виден.
