В результате тайфуна «Хагибис» в Японии погибли по меньшей мере 40 человек, еще 16 числятся без вести пропавшими. Об этом сообщает ТАСС.
Как отмечается, 30 тыс. в настоящее время находятся в эвакуационных лагерях и не могут вернуться в свои дома.
По словам премьер-министра Японии Синдзо Абэ, спасатели продолжат активные поиски людей в круглосуточном режиме.
Кроме того, Абэ распорядился создать специальные группы, которые помогали бы восстановить водоснабжение и подачу электричества в пострадавших районах.
Также сообщается, что 19 человек числятся пропавшими без вести. Таким образом, на данный момент из-за стихийного бедствия пострадало уже 180 человек.Отмечается, что максимальный уровень угрозы в связи с тайфуном отменили во всех регионах Японии.
Президент, премьер и министр иностранных дел Латвии выразили выразили поддержку японскому народу и соболезнования родственникам погибших и пострадавших по поводу случившегося стихийного бедствия.
