Число погибших из-за урагана «Дориан» на Багамах увеличилось до семи человек. Как заявляют власти, это может быть не окончательная цифра, передает телеканал ZNS Bahamas.
По информации телеканала, двое пострадавших во время урагана скончались в больнице.
Напомним, ураган «Дориан», достигший наивысшей пятой категории опасности, ударил по Багамским островам в воскресенье. В результате на островах были разрушены или повреждены 13 тыс. домов, повреждена инфраструктура.
В настоящее время «Дориан» продолжает движение вдоль атлантического побережья США.
Тем временем, президент США Дональд Трамп ввел в штате Северная Каролина режим чрезвычайной ситуации из-за урагана «Дориан». Об этом сообщает ТАСС со ссылкой на пресс-службу Белого дома.
Как отмечается американский лидер в связи со стихией поручил оказать федеральную помощь местным властям.
Помимо этого, Министерство внутренней безопасности и Федеральное агентство по чрезвычайным ситуациям США получили от Трампа указание по координации усилий для предотвращения последствий урагана.
